Why use Creature Comforts NZ In-Home Pet Care services?
Since 2002 Creature Comforts NZ has been striving to provide the very best professional, personalised service to Wellingtonians and their pets. We pride ourselves on all the little extra’s and are always happy to go the extra mile to provide unprecedented value to our clients.
Did you know Creature Comforts NZ gives back to the community?
At Creature Comforts NZ, we believe in giving back to the community, and most importantly, to our precious animals. We regularly support RNZSPCA, Forest & Bird, Paw Justice, and Cats Protection League, with 5% of our annual profit being donated to these charities.
Isn’t it nice to know that in giving your pets the very best one-on-one care you are also donating to fantastic organisations who are dedicated to helping the not-so-lucky of our furry friends.
Why choose Creature Comforts NZ over other In-Home services?
Creature Comforts NZ is owned & operated by a qualified and practicing vet nurse, who has a genuine love of animals and is extremely passionate about their well-being and welfare. To ensure all our clients receive the very best one-on-one care all year round we have also hand picked a team of fully qualified vet nurses who share this passion.
How many visits would my cat need while I am out of town?
The minimum amount of visits we recommend is at least once per 24 hours. Many cat owners leave their cats for days at a time, but on recommendations by veterinarians we recommend that we visit cats a minimum of once per day. Cats can become ill quickly and if more than 24 hours pass before they are checked on, the cat could become seriously ill.
The same applies for small animals, and we now have in home boarding options available for them. (this applies to rabbits, guinea pigs, birds etc, unfortunately not cats or dogs).
How long is each visit?
Visits are usually around 30 minutes, depending on your pet and their needs.
How much do you charge?
Prices vary slightly but our average cost is $18 per visit. Feel free to contact us for a personalised quote.
Why should we use Creature Comforts, when we have always used a friend or neighbour?
Having a neighbour or relative pet sit is quite common, but what happens if they begin to feel taken advantage of or a problem arises? Mixing business with pleasure can bring all sorts of problems. It could even ruin a friendship. If you hire a child you could come across huge problems and what happens if there is an emergency, would they know how to handle it? What happens if your friend or neighbour has their own personal emergency they have to deal with? Keeping business and friendship separate is the best way to avoid problems arising.
